추미애 경기지사가 재정 위기 상황을 선언한 지 닷새 만에 경기도가 각 시군에 추석 도정 홍보에 적극 협조해달라는 내용의 공문을 보내 논란이 되고 있다. 재정 위기 극복을 위해 보조금을 삭감해놓고 추 지사 홍보에 나서달라는 요청에 각 시군에서는 난색을 표하고 있다.
경기도는 지난달 10일쯤 도내 31개 시군에 ‘옥외 행정용 게시대 게시 협조 요청’ 공문을 보냈다. 경기도는 공문에서 “추석을 맞아 각 시군이 운영하는 행정용 게시대에 홍보 현수막 게시를 요청한다”며 “(도정) 정책 정보의 접근성 확대 및 도달 효과 제고를 위해 해당 시군에서는 홍보에 적극 협조해 달라”고 요청했다.
